Bee Inspired Beehive Adoption Program For Families

Support Local Bees
Do you have a passion for nature or are you concerned about the impact we have on it and how we interact with all living things? Here at Just Bee Cuz Honey Farm, we understand the important relationship between humans and the natural environment and how it is mutually beneficial for us and so important that we foster that relationship in a healthy manner.
Adopting a beehive full of live buzzing bees will allow your family to feel they are doing something that really matters to preserve nature. Honey bee hive adoption will help this amazing species thrive.
The European Honey Bee (Apis Mellifera), plays a very important roll in pollination and food security. Adopting a hive with Just Bee Cuz Honey Farm, will provide an opportunity to directly support your local bee population.

About Just Bee Cuz Honey Farm

Just Bee Cuz Honey Farm was established in 2018. Gardening and pollinators have always been a passion of ours. It was only natural that when we secured a suitable location and the time was right, that we acquired our colonies and began our very interesting journey into the exciting world of beekeeping. We follow sustainable, and best practices in the industry. We operate our apitourism experiences, and tours in a zero waste manner. We give the highest quality of care and attention to all of our colonies. We promote educational awareness and your adoption will allow us to continue to do so while we develop new ways to increase awareness in our community.

An Educational Experience, Plus a Year’s Supply of Honey
When you adopt a hive for one season, your family of up to 4 persons will have an opportunity to visit our apiary for a one hour tour. Children under the age of 12 can visit our farm but will not go into the apiary. We have an observation hive which can be brought to our comfortable gazebo so that younger children can still get a close up look at live buzzing bees. Persons 13 years and older will get suited up in PPE, learn about bee biology, life in the hive, and even have their photo taken holding a frame full of buzzing bees if they are brave enough.
These tours can be a family activity and extra tickets can be purchased for your larger family at a cost of $50 each person. As an added bonus, you will also receive a one year supply (one case of twelve jars (500g each) of fresh raw honey.
You will receive a certificate of adoption and you will have the opportunity to name your Queen Bee.
Bee Inspired Adoption Program cost $600 plus HST per year. More info about the program (PDF).
