One Hour Apiary Tour

Learn About Bees & Beekeeping

This one hour tour of our apiary in Plainfield Ontario, will be led by an experienced beekeeper. We provide all the necessary personal protective equipment so that you will be comfortable while you learn about the amazing world of honey bees and the important role they play in our environment.

Guests will receive information such as

• how to behave around stinging insects
• a demonstration in the bee yard on beekeeping safety
• hive components are brought to the participants for a close up view
• learn about honey bee biology, life cycles, pollination, and more
• taste raw honey fresh from the hive.
